Progress is possible! It’s so easy to look in the mirror and feel like you’ll never look like any of the girls we post on here, but it’s essential to believe in yourself and know that you really can push hard enough to achieve the body and health and fitness-level that you desire.
Don’t get me wrong — I am astounded by how in shape I’ve gotten just in the past few months, however I can look back at how hard I’ve worked, how disciplined I’ve been with eating right, and how strong I’ve been for sticking with this lifestyle change to get here. It really is all about looking at how far you’ve come, not how much more you have to go. Every morning you get out of bed to start your workout, every time you pick an apple over a cookie, every “Dressing on the side please” or “I’ll just have water”, every lap, every rep, every breath, blister, cold shower, shirt drenched in sweat, every single day counts! I definitely still have a long way to go, but I’m getting there, and I am extremely proud! =)
